For you, as a manufacturer or distributor of portable batteries (commonly used in household, garden, telecommunications and similar equipment), we fulfil the legal requirements and obligations of the Battery Act (BattG). Trust in our decades of experience and adherence to the industry's leading safety standard, which includes solutions for the transport of damaged and defective lithium batteries. On your behalf, we will supply retailers, local authorities and commercial end users with collection and transport containers nationwide and free of charge. Information and training materials ensure safe collection procedures and practices of even transport critical batteries. Waste batteries are sorted and recycled using proper recovery processes and valuable raw materials are recovered.

On behalf of battery manufacturers or their authorised representatives we undertake their registration with the relevant authority.
Our Service
On behalf of manufacturers or their authorised representatives, we take back waste batteries free of charge from the trade, municipal and voluntary collection points and primary treatment facilities for old electrical equipment and end-of-life vehicles. For this purpose we supply collection points with collection containers and collect the filled containers. We then deliver the old batteries to the proper recycling facility.

Distributors are obliged to take back waste batteries from end users. For the take-back of batteries in or around the immediate vicinity of the retail outlet, we supply collection containers to distributors on behalf of the manufacturers and collect filled containers for recycling.

We guarantee that collected and identifiable waste batteries are treated and recycled using state of the art techniques, ensuring prescribed recycling efficiencies are achieved or exceeded.

We prepare an annual performance review for submission to the Federal Environment Agency. Reported metrics include the mass of batteries placed on the market, taken back and recycled by our users, the collection and recycling rate and the qualitative and quantitative recycling and disposal results.

We maintain the prescribed collection rate of at least 50 percent and ensure that the targets are achieved on a continuous basis. The collection rate is determined in accordance with the legal requirements.
